LoupeEdit is made by Dumitru Alin-Marian (Max), an individual in Romania. Email: hello@loupeedit.com. "We" on this page means him.

LoupeEdit is an independent product. Claude and Claude Code are made by Anthropic and come with Anthropic's own terms. For Claude's part you need your own Claude Code, from Anthropic, paid separately.

Age: LoupeEdit has no age limit. To buy Pro you must be 18 or older. Claude Code has its own age rules, in Anthropic's terms.

Stripe sells LoupeEdit Pro for us, as the merchant of record, through Stripe Managed Payments. That means Stripe takes the payment, works out and pays the sales tax or VAT, sends your receipt and invoices, and handles refunds and disputes. Your purchase shows as "Sold through Link", and on your statement as LINK.COM*.

Stripe's own terms apply to the payment. These terms cover LoupeEdit itself and your licence to use it.

Free is everything you do by hand: editing, sound, colour, effects, titles, the add-ons, and exports with no watermark. Claude can look, listen and advise. Free stays usable, with no time limit.

The Pro trial is 7 days of Pro, once per computer, starting the first time you open LoupeEdit while online. No card. When it ends, LoupeEdit is on Free and nothing you made is locked.

Pro lets Claude edit for you: import, edit, render, undo and new projects, through Claude Code.

• Monthly, 3 months and yearly are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Cancel or change plans any time: in LoupeEdit, Help › LoupeEdit Pro… › Manage subscription opens Stripe's page; your order is also on link.com. When you cancel, Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for, then LoupeEdit goes back to Free.
• Beta prices: subscribe during the beta and you keep its price ($8 a month, $20 for 3 months, $69 a year) for as long as you stay subscribed. After the beta, new subscriptions are $12 a month, $30 for 3 months or $99 a year.
• If a price changes, we say so first, and the new price applies only from a later renewal. You can cancel before it. This never changes a beta price you keep.
• The prices are on loupeedit.com/pro. Stripe's checkout shows the final amount, with any tax, before you pay.
• If LoupeEdit shuts down, subscriptions stop renewing and we refund the unused part of the time you paid for.

Founder is one payment for Pro for as long as LoupeEdit exists: every future version of LoupeEdit, with all its Pro features. Founder is sold only during the beta, to at most 100 people: it closes when the beta ends or when 100 have taken it, whichever comes first.

If LoupeEdit ever shuts down, Founders get a final version with Pro unlocked and LoupeEdit's own source code, by email on request, to build, use and change for themselves.

Founder covers Pro. If we add paid cloud credits one day (services that cost us money each time they run), they are bought separately, by everyone, Founders included.

• A key is for one person, on up to 2 of their computers.
• You can move it: remove a computer in Help › LoupeEdit Pro…, then use the key on another. A key can move at most 3 times in 30 days.
• Sharing a key isn't allowed: no giving it to others, posting it, or reselling it. Don't change LoupeEdit to get around the licence check.
• A key that is used abusively (shared, posted, resold, or used beyond these limits) can be turned off. If you think we turned yours off by mistake, write to us.
• A licence lets you use LoupeEdit; it doesn't sell you the software itself. Your projects and what you make with LoupeEdit are yours.

14 days, money back. Write to hello@loupeedit.com within 14 days of any payment, a subscription, a renewal or Founder, and we refund it in full. No questions asked.

After that, if something is wrong, write to us anyway and we'll sort it out. Stripe, as the merchant of record, can also refund under its own policy; ask through Link's support. Your rights as a consumer where you live always apply.

A refunded or disputed purchase ends its key, and LoupeEdit goes back to Free on every computer it was on.

LoupeEdit is in beta. Keep your original footage, and keep copies of what matters.

LoupeEdit is provided as it is, and we can't promise it never fails. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost work or indirect losses, and our total liability is at most what you paid for LoupeEdit in the last 12 months. None of this limits rights the law doesn't let us limit.

Claude edits what you ask it to, through your own Claude Code session. Watch what it does before you publish. Anthropic's service, its availability and its terms are Anthropic's, not ours.

The sounds, fonts, effects and open-source parts that come with LoupeEdit have their own licences, listed in the app (Help › Third-party licences…). The optional add-ons you download (speech to text, who speaks, sound names, remove music and person cutout) come with theirs.

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when; a change that matters for a paid plan applies from your next renewal, and we tell you first.

These terms are under Romanian law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live.
